The Beaumont Residential Association Board meets the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm in the Beaumont Clubhouse. All residents are welcome to attend.
Participation is crucial! The Residential Association is now run by the residents. This is what many residents have wanted for many years. Now it is time to get involved. In order to move information and materials to such a large number of households (over 1200) we need to organize. We have a plan in place to divide the neighborhood into Blocks and Street Areas. We need people to enlist as Block Captains and Street Lieutenants. Each of these positions would require a minimal amount of time. Information would move down a phone tree from a board member to a number of Block Captains, then from each Block Captain to their number of Street Lieutenants, then from each Street Lieutenant to their number of households. We tried to keep the task small per position. If a person has plenty of time to volunteer, they could volunteer to cover more than one street area or their street as well as their block.
To enlist please contact Dayna Barnett at 312-3493 or
dayna.barnett@insightbb.com. This is a great opportunity to show your family, friends, and neighbors how to contribute to their community on the most basic level.
We must complete this step first. After we are organized, we can easily and quickly gather information for a new neighborhood directory. We could compile it by December, add it to the 2008 budget and produce it the first of next year.
